The link above provides a list of the most common Taiwanese family names starting with the most numerous one,  Tân(陳). The list was based on research published in the 60's that looked at the census data from 1956. Given that the flow of people between Taiwan and the Mainland has been negligble since 1949, one can safely assume that the list is probably still fairly accurate today.</description>
